The world economic order has changed, and wars, sanctions, inflation and recession have brought impacts. How should we look to the future? The world situation is ever-changing, with conflicts among major powers casting a haze of uncertainty, triggering sensitive nerves related to industrial transformation and societal security. Amidst the collective anxiety, people often find themselves in a state of confusion. The allure of this course lies in enabling students to comprehend the key forces shaping the global economy and analyze the trends in the economic and energy sectors. With a global perspective, students fearlessly confront challenges and embrace new challenges in life.

In the first semester of the 113th academic year, iSchool offers an honors course, “New Constellation of the World: Forecasting the Coming Spring” This course is lectured by Distinguished Chair Professor Kao, Cheng-Shu, discussing the key trends of the world economies and industrial transformation.
